Product Update

Production: May 30, 2023​

This Product Update provides a summary of changes and enhancements to the existing application that impact all customers. When applicable, it includes changes to functionality that were made to resolve customer-specific issues and that apply to all Tenovos users. Product Updates occur frequently and are separate from Release Notes.

Unless otherwise stated, the availability of each update is as follows:

  • UAT: May 25, 2023
  • Production: May 30, 2023
  • Availability: All Customers

Relationship behavior for creating confirmed links has been updated.

  • Tenovos will automatically create a confirmed relationship/link only when a match is made on both the file name and file size and there is only one match.
  • In cases where there are matches on filename only, the results (up to 100) will also be shown for selection to create/confirm the link.

Proofing​

Creating a Proof for an Adobe InDesign file within Tenovos no longer uses a PDF of the INDD, and instead uses the original INDD file.

The reason for this change is that when a PDFnrendition of an INDD is used to generate a Proof, when the asset is ingested back into Tenovos, the PDF would replace the INDD as a new version, which is not desired. If a Proof is versioned within Proofing, and an INDD file is uploaded for the new version of the proof, the INDD will be sent back to Tenovos and processed for linked assets.

Other Enhancements & Quality Improvements​

  • Resolved an issue where buttons on the Asset Detail page for custom actions were remaining visible after the “Action Management” privilege was removed.
  • Resolved an issue where creating a version of an asset would fail if the asset had more than 10 relationships.
  • Resolved an Issue in Story Boards where filenames longer than 60 characters could not be searched against.
  • Resolved an issue in Story Boards where sorting by Most Recent was reversed.
  • Resolved an issue where Metadata Export was not exporting table metadata.
  • Resolved an issue where using “Export Metadata All” from a Collection resulted in a ZIP being generated of the Excel file along with duplicated data on multiple tabs.
  • Resolved an issue in Metadata Export where some data was not being exported for certain tables.
  • Resolved an issue in Metadata Export where customers with large metadata templates were not able to export the maximum limit.
  • When exporting more than the maximum limit of 100,000 assets with the Metadata Export feature, all assets up to the maximum limit will be exported now, even if you select more than the limit.
    Previously, when the maximum limit was reached, the entire export would error.
